LOST (Excerpt) | 1970 | Film, 16mm | 5’00” | B&W
An aboriginal man sits in a park and looks on. People pass him by, come closer only to walk away, or to retrieve their transistor radio – left behind in the park and picked up earlier by the man. A scenario of averted gazes which deals with the alienation of the urban aborigines in the early seventies and the disinformation of the State about their social conditions.
Made at Swinburne Film and Television School (1970).
