What follows is a sample of sketch-scenario-outline of a set of narrative fragments (scenes) of fleeting human gestures and urban settings, around inner city of Sydney, proposed for production development as a film documentary fiction, of urban street life, gazed by an itinerant visitor.
The scenario is subdivided into 10 segments (fugues) entitled as follows and out of which this submission presents only a selected list of scenes from segments 1 to 2. Description of each of the scenes has been kept to mere indications of place and action. Further writing, reflections and production contingencies, are available in extended annotations of the project proposal.

Section 1 Excerpts Page 1 City
Train Two women sitting side by side, talking to each other in Chinese. The constant movement of their heads back and side. The delight of the sound of their speech and the oscillation of their faces moving to and fro… recalling the fort da game now you see and now you don’t.
Central Station Tunnel.
A puppeteer busker. Chinese music. Echoes and reverberations. Pedestrians moving past.
Steps. Law Library. Some objects roll down the large white masonry steps of the building.
Poster. Volunteers Wanted. Brain and Mind Research.
Two men trying to manoeuvre their way out of a door of a men’s toilet.
Windows of Chemistry lab. Several students inside all wearing white and all apparently performing the same actions.
A girl lying prone on a bench, reading a book. The sudden movement of her body raising and twisting as her hand slips into her dress to fix her bra.
Inside the bus. An old shop with an old sign NUTRI PERMA. Passing and now past. The sign moves (from my eyes) and yet it’s fixed to the wall.

The Café/Gallery, a patch of the floor re-varnished, cordon off with ‘bright’ red and white strip. Danger Keep Out.
Outside. Chalk drawings of a series of ‘circles’ on a concrete path. A thin round plywood on a pole casting a shadow onto one of the circle drawings… moving with the moving sunlight (earth revolutions) in and out of the circle drawing, sync and async.
