DAILY WALKS – SELECTED SCENES

What follows is a sample of sketch-scenario-outline of a set of narrative fragments (scenes) of fleeting human gestures and urban settings, around inner city of Sydney, proposed for production development as a film documentary fiction, of urban street life, gazed by an itinerant visitor.

The scenario is subdivided into 10 segments (fugues) entitled as follows and out of which this submission presents only a selected list of scenes from segments 1 to 2. Description of each of the scenes has been kept to mere indications of place and action. Further writing, reflections and production contingencies, are available in extended annotations of the project proposal.

0104
A girl lying prone on a bench, reading a book. The sudden movement of her body raising and twisting as her hand slips into her dress to fix her bra.

0112
Parramatta Road.
Inside the bus. An old shop with an old sign NUTRI PERMA. Passing and now past. The sign moves (from my eyes) and yet it’s fixed to the wall.
